My name is Señora S. and I am a retired world language teacher. I am a seasoned surfer on the web. To satisfy my lifetime yearning to be a library media specialist, I have created this website which is my own personal "filing cabinet" of resources to share with you. I have discovered many super sites to recommend.
Parents and children, I have selected special places to learn more about Spanish and its many cultures, as well as other world languages and cultures. All sites are appropriate and appealing to children ten years old and younger.
Teachers, I have gathered many quality sites useful for FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary School) world language, dual language, immersion and bilingual instruction and background resources and references. May they be a source of helpful information, support, and inspiration as you bring the joy of learning a new language to young people. There is also a separate special section of "teacher pointers" gleaned from my personal classroom experience.
In addition, on my knitting site there are special sections for adults and children.
My newest creation is a website on César Chávez with resources in Spanish and English for teachers and librarians of children in kindergarten to grade five.
