Knitting Humor :)
A woman is knitting as she drives (which is totally unsafe, and I don't advocate it). Pretty soon, her speed has crept all the way up to 95 mph--and she passes a parked police car. The car gives chase. Officer Bob turns on his siren, but the woman, oblivious, doesn't notice him. Finally, he pulls up alongside her car and yells, "Pull over! PULL OVER!"

She looks at him, looks at her knitting, and yells--

"NO! It's a CARDIGAN!"

The "sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick" is said to be the toughest tongue twister in the English language. Try to say it three times! Thanks to the Sheep Shack.
Thanks to the Sheep Shack for this cute cartoon.
These silly sheep just make me smile back! They are available from Kipp Brothers in quantities of one dozen (or more). Love them! Would be great for prizes/favors at a knitting party or event or as gifts for special knitters at holiday time. Click on the photo to see individual pricing information.
An apricot poodle? No, looks like a "yarn
dog" to me! What is a "yarn dog"? "Yarn Dogs" knitting shop says that you're a "yarn dog" if --- (1) your yarn stash is the focal point of your livingroom, (2) your knitting group is your second family, (3) you think an alpaca might make a great pet, (4) you've actually considered using chopsticks as knitting needles, and (5) walking into a yarn shop feels a little bit like coming home. I also think it's cute that this shop is located in Los Gatos, California. "Los gatos" means "cats" in Spanish. :)
Thanks to A Good Yarn which also carries other
charming and whimsical antique images of knitting for downloading.
